Verifying Registrant Contact Information
- Required by the Registrar Accreditation Agreement (RAA).
- You must verify contact details when updated; yearly reminders are also sent.
- Failure to verify may suspend the domain (website/email stop working, but renewal is still possible).
Account Email & Notifications
- Notifications are sent to your account email.
- Ensure your email domain has valid DMARC records to receive them.
- Invalid email settings may prevent notifications.
When Verification Is Triggered
- New domain registration
- Changes to registrant first name, last name, or email
- Not triggered by admin/technical/billing updates
- Deadlines:
- New domains: 14 days
- Existing domains: 7 days
- Non-verification → domain suspension
Resending Verification Emails
From account:
1. Sign in → Pending suspensions
2. Select domain → Resend
From suspended domain page:
1. Visit domain → enter code → Resend verification email
2. Check inbox (may take up to 30 minutes)
3. Click verification link to complete
Fixing a Suspended Domain
- Click the verification link in the email
- OR update contact info to trigger a new verification
- OR revert to previous contact info
- Once resolved, services return after DNS propagation delay.
